Ethical Statement

Being 'ethical' is something we hear a lot from businesses trying to sell us products and often cynically trying to cash in on the green economy.

 

What it means to be ethical can be subjective, so as I use it in my tagline I want to share what it means to me and my business, and for you as a potential customer.

I design and make my jewellery to be enjoyed by anyone who wants to wear or gift it.  I make no distinction over who can or should wear it.  If it makes you happy, go for it. 

 

I believe that what we do/wear/make etc should not come at the cost of the earth, the environment, of others. 

 

Therefore, I do not make or sell anything that does not meet these basic requirements:

 

     1. All the metal used must be recycled

     2. No gemstones will be mined for use in my jewellery.  Gems will be either lab-created or               reclaimed from other sources

     3. All packaging will be 100% recyclable

     4. All jewellery is 100% inclusive
